Hey everyone... I have noticed that when I am around and angry, shadows start moving and this morning I came out with it. My mom is now making me see a pastor, making me go to Sunday school (I'm an agnostic) and he's blessing me and the house. I don't get it, I've been seeing things and hearing voices and stuff all my life, now she's acting up? And what's with these shadow stuff? I know I'm not insane, cuz my sisters the same with seeing things, and other people see the shadows too. What should I do?? I don't know what to do anymore...

Do you see them directly or out of the corner of your eyes? Also is it only during the day?

I've watched them directly, and sometimes just a flash from the border of my eyesight. Its during night mostly, but its happened in the day.
Also, I can't see now, I'm relaxed and calm, but they happen a lot when I'm stressed. I think they move more when I'm emotional or stressed.

i have funny stuff happen with my vision and perception at times when stressed and upset and stuff. i think you can see stuff like that without it being serious mental illness like schizophrenia. sounds like something a doctor would call a stressed induced hallucination or something like that. religious people will often jump to the conclusion you're seeing demons or whatever. so are you talking about shadows already there that move or get longer?

Yes. Mostly. This morning, in bed, I watched one move in some misty thingy from the corner bottom to the ceiling of my room. I know about the human blind spot in the eye, and I know these stress stuff, but they sometimes dance even when I'm not stressed. I've seen one escape through a window in my room at the hostel, I was totally relaxed and on VT. I seriously need some help, I do not look forward in any way to this pastor.

Had it been during the day my answer would have been hallucinations but you should still see a doc about it.
I'm guessing what you have seen at night are wisps of white which might pass by too swiftly too be identifiable as any shape?

I dunno!!!! I hate not knowing!!! And these aren't hallucinations. Other people see it too. It was another guy I know that first told me about these "creepy shadows that move when you're angry."

If that was a joke it was not appreciable.
I've seen one only once in daylight and it appeared inky, humanoid back then. Apart from then they've just been misty and wisp-like mostly and not quite malicious.
I'm not paranoid but I believe they are real.

I saw a humanoid (vaguely, it had like ten arms) thing yesterday night, that was what scared me into posting this thread and telling my mom. It was faster than lightning, and I jumped (or walked) right over the swimming pool. Moments later, something tapped against my window with a rhythm, like a hand. Pam, parampam.

That's far creepier than anything I've seen. I suggest you to stop thinking about them completely for some time even the i'll not think about this. Just blank them out from your mind as if they never existed.
By that I don't mean to suggest it is a mental problem. Its something that worked for me. Wish you luck. :)

I know!!! I'm scared...I think this is like a movie... I think I can control the shadows if I focus really hard and put my heart (and sanity) into it. That would be amazing. I'll be a superhero!!! Or just some weird guy with weird talents... But how do I block it from my kind?
Hudor
May 12th, 2014, 01:42 PM
I know about the superhero thing. I tried too but it won't work. They're not subservient rather independent.
Stop focussing on them and i know its hard but you'll have to try to forget about them completely.
I g2g right now(its night out here) but i'll get back to you with something helpful.
Stay strong.

I get that too, voices shadow people smells etc but I do have schizophrenia, so they tell me that's why I see things like that, but how would they know, they cant prove wot im seeing isn't real can they because I know they are, anyway, if u see these things when ur mostly stressed or something then it might not be wot I have but u should tell someone even just to know can help u, not easy trying to tell people wot goes on in ur head though.

I know. People have actually told me nd asked me why the shade moves towards me when I'm angry. I only noticed cuz they told me. Apparently, they don't understand that I can see dead people and hear disembodied voices. People have told me I'm talented in "ways no-one could comprehend". Now I figur out they respond to emotion. They also move faster and slower, depending in the power of the emotion. They can't prove us wrong. I've told my mom this morning. Tomorrow (I don't want to. I thinks its kinda drastic.) I'm getting blessed by a pastor, along with the house. I see dead people on a regular basis, now that I showed them one, they all freak out! I asked one to make itself visible. It came as a ten-armed, eight-feet-tall humanoid. Now I see these things regularly. I've finally found iut what gave me my paranoia about something that's constantly watching me. I go insane when I'm at my worst state of anger. My eyes turn white, I get a vicious glare in them, and I beat up people of seventeen so bad, they have to go to the hospital to complain that a white-eyed boy broke three ribs and an arm. Now they want me at THE HOSTEL!!! The one place I hate more than my thoughts!!

You need a psychiatrist, not a pastor. While it may be nothing, seeing things that aren't there is a serious symptom, and should be investigated by a qualified physician. No one here can tell you what, if anything is wrong, but it is better to get it checked out sooner rather than later. If it turns out to be nothing, you'll be able to relax about it, and if it turns out to be serious, the doctor will be able to help you.
If you want to see a pastor, go ahead. As an atheist, I don't think it'll do anything, but go ahead if you want to, or if you don't want to offend your mother. However, don't let it interfere with getting medical treatment. Pastors are not experts in practicing medicine, and they won't be able to give you the care you need.

okay, that's a bit unusual to say the least. so what you're saying is that your anger is causing some kind of paranormal activity that someone else saw. and who was this person?

Its not uncommon for two people hallucinating to feed of each other like that. I have experienced it first hand with two sisters who suffered hallucinations. OK this was kinda mean but I did at one time pretend to hallucinate as well to see what they would do, if I said I saw a green bear walking in the woods, later on one of them saw it too. (However I never saw any thing, I just made it up. Which proved that the hallucinations were fed by external factors, hence why they had similar halucinations to each other.) I think this may be the OPs case as well. One feeds off the other, in many cases neither realizes the hallucinations are influenced.

I read a lot on halluconations because of this whole thing, and while this is a great thing to include, I honestly just don't think that with the amount of people who have seen it (±25) that's the problem. But thanks anyway.

wow, that's really fascinating. and really don't have any trouble believing you, seems obvious you're quite sincere. this seems more like something happening around you, then something going on with you psychologically. i remember something i saw or read, that there's been cases of strange things that happen sometimes when a kid is around 13 in puberty. like psychokinetic type stuff, things moving by itself. you should google that and see if you find anything.

Heck I'll write it out anyways. It might save you this night's 'viewings'
First off- do you like seeing them inwardly maybe deep down?
I guess I know the answer is yes. Either ways you shouldn't. This may seem like exciting but it will only tumble downwards into a living nightmare. Save yourself the trouble. You do seem pretty much able to focus stoking your sanity and will!(that summoning part)
I think what you can do is to try and ignore them-as if they don't exist, as if they never did. Root out the superhero part in your mind which wants to control them. Stop linking things in your mind with them (for eg-you are thinking about percy jackson then fast forward to nico di angelo and then to your own spirits) Just dull the edges around them. They are normal and as much a part of the world as us. Some people see them, most don't but that doesn't make them exotic. Don't try to consciously ostracize them from your mind that will only make it harder to forget. Just think of other things, more cooler?
Most importantly you've got to believe they don't exist as much as you believe you're one prodigiously talented, intellectual and mature 13 year old.

Ok so you've done it. I've finally got a migraine. :)
I know you can't control them, I mentioned they are independent. the point is that you were able to summon them which pretty much makes it clear that you can focus on them and hard whenever you want to. STOP IT.
As for your exceptional talents and maturity if you have a hard time believing it stick to the intellectual part.

I've read through the whole thread and still don't really get it. Do we talk about mental problems or some kind of paranormal activities?
For the latter and when your family believes that spiritual/paranormal things like that exist, I totally understand your mom and her pastor thing. if you just came out to her about it how should she have known and reacted on it earlier?
Involving a priest and doing some kind of exorcism stuff isn't that uncommon even in your days and age.
So if you and people around you believe in these shadows being real I guess they are...at least for you. I've read a great deal about all kinds of spiritual and religious books and in my religion people believe in spirits, that we are able to contact/summon them, make them do things for us and that they can become part of us. And well, believe is the key here....many people believe that I'm gifted, but well, to be honest...I don't think I am, I'm just mentally ill...bipolar and a tad schizophrenic, but due to that I can do a lot of things obviously that "normal people" can't. I wouldn't blame any uber religious person to think I'm posessed sometimes, lol.
I don't know enough of your backstory to say anything about your case really, but if it makes your Mom happy just play along her religious thing with her. As for yourself, just try to take your mind of them shadows, tell yourself they don't exist and they will disappear eventually...if your condition gets worse however I'd advise you to see a doctor because then it could really be the first signs of a severe mental illness and you need treatment asap.
Either way, I wish you all the best and you can always pm me if you like:)

How are you? Did you see them? Did anything help you?
It dawned on me lately that the prodigiously talented comment may have been wrongly phrased. I meant to compliment you on your wit and tactfulness in the general comments and not the summoning part as it seemed. I should have phrased it better.
I do not promote necromancy, sorcery, possessions and stuff. As I see it, spirits are omnipresent and about as normal as us. It is just that some people see them and some don’t. But that doesn’t mean you or I or anyone who sees them becomes special. Why I emphasized the summoning part was to highlight your ability to focus rather than any superpowers. Anyone can recognize attention if you give it hard enough be it humans or spirits.
What all I’ve been telling you in my posts is more of an issue of conditioning the brain so you dull the edges around them.
I’ve conveyed the bones of it in here. There’s more I would like to add but the last time I tried I was blocked.
Needless, I’ll keep trying to help you with this as best as I could. I agree with tysci about the psychiatrist if not to cure you of hallucinations and such but to help condition your mind more effectively than I could ever be capable of helping with.
