Around 80 or so on big name roads. It's not worth it to me to get a ticket though, so I'm fairly cautious. 10 - 15 above the limit because I'm so not badass. Cops around here nab you at 13-15 over though, so I'm fairly careful, especially in the areas where I know they like to chill

I've never actually driven anything on the road myself (on account of me being 14) but when I went to the USA for a holiday, when we were in Texas, our friend let us take his Camaro SS onto the interstate and I think we got up to 150-160 mph! His words when he said we could borrow his car were "why don't you take it up to the interstate and gun it?" So we did! It was so mad!

The fastest I have ever traveled was 125mph on the back of a Triumph SpeedTriple 888cc motorcycle. Actually very relaxing traveling at such high speeds, you wouldnt think so would you?
Probably wasn't a goof idea doing that speed in that location, it was on a narrow back lane with no people around for miles and sharp turns you couldn't see.
But it was so fun it was easily worth it ;)

No it was the speed and they do have tachometers. the RPM was in the 4 mark ( Im 15 but I do drive every once in a while on the road and I have to burn the carbon on the spark plugs by giving her the gas ). It will go faster but I wasn't allow to go over 75 :( Either way 72 was enough for me .... for now.

Yes, exactly we have an E63 and those are bad ass sedans. The ride is so great you really don't realize your pushing to 160! Usually I am cruising at 85 when I can.

I was kind of descensitised to speed because my uncle used to ride with me on the back , and he drives like a bat out of hell with nitrous oxide turned on. So I kind of got used to hurteling places at double the speed limit..,

No like I said, I would be terrified riding on a motorcycle over 50mph. I would only do the Isle of Man if I were driving a sports car with 4 wheels and less chance of wiping out, plus you really cant drift on a motorcycle! How fast do they actually drive on the Isle of Man?
I would rather drive the Indy 500 or F1 cars.

Hell no man! Cars are for wimps! The only way I will ever own four wheels is if I have two bikes!
And as far as I can tell, its just as fast as they can go...
And please, going at 50 just feels too slow. Once you get used to it, being on a bike is amazing and freeing, like flying, it really does feel like being free.

The fastest I've actually driven is 40 MPH but while in Germany I was shotgun while doing 157 mph. It didn't feel pretty fast but had to stop a lot because a bunch of people would randomly pull out into the fast lane and we had to stomp on the brakes.

I was driving with my dad (I was a passenger) in his Jag XFR. It maxed out at around 250kph (it had a limiter). That was one hell of an experience (the sound the engine made was breathtaking... Unfortunately he sold it and got a 3.0l diesel BMW :( ...) The fastest I've gone on my own was around 120 kph on a highway.

Lowest I've seen: 50MPH/80KPH (Central Freeway in SF)
Usually in an urban/suburban environment: 60-65MPH, or ~100KPH
Usually in a rural environment: 70-75MPH ~120KPH
Highest in the US: 85MPH/136KPH (on a stretch of freeway in Texas)

Where I am in the Midwest, it's in the 55-65 range.
However, if the traffic is low and conditions are good, people usually drive 75-80.

115 MPH in our 2008 Toyota Corolla. Very late at night, no cars in sight on the highway, nice long straight away.

Also topped out my 1981 turbo diesel Mercedes at 103 MPH, it could use a fifth gear. Pretty fast, especially for a diesel, 33 years ago.

I hope to update this later with results from a 2009 Toyota Highlander. Its definitely faster than the others but I've never had a safe spot and time to top it out.

Speed doesn't kill, distracted drivers, unnecessary aggressive maneuvers at high speeds and pushing the limits of what your comfortable with is what kills.
