I know a few guys that can't cum from oral. I wouldn't say that it's common but it happens. Usually there are things you can do that will help like using your hands more, but you should talk to him about what he likes and that might work for you.

I think it's a lot like girls who can't cum from penetration. Most girls can cum from oral, but not as many can from getting fingered or actual sex.

Exact opposite for me. I usually have to hold back or I bust a nut as soon as her lips touch my head. Could be his anxiety to try to cum, or maybe he just isn't ready to. Try other things instead.
