Wondering if this could be a good decision

I am currently very very depressed to the point of cutting everyday and some days barely getting out of bed. My schoolmate/friend once spent a week in the hospital in the psychiatric ward to kind of take a break because they were feeling really bad. I am already seeing two different therapists but am not on any anti-depressants. I was thinking I might want to check myself into the hospital for a week because maybe it could help. If any of you have done this before I would appreciate the input or to tell me exactly what goes on and stuff. Thank you, I'm trying to help myself before it's too late...

your making a good choice, Personally I've never been threw this. but I've had a friend who cut alot. And she admitted herself into the hospital once she noticed how bad she was hurting her family and friends from doing this. It took her some time to get better but as of now she is doing really well. I'll try to get more input from her.
