I wouldn't say you two are in a relationship based of what you've said. But your relationship status is what you two say it is, so talk about it with him.

A relationship has different definitions to different people. You'll have to ask him what he thinks, but by the sounds of it, it does not seem to be a relationship simply because of the lack of communication (which is pretty important in a relationship) as to whether you actually are in a relationship or not.

i'd say no, only because i think it is something that you both would need to have agreed, but the further you continue, then the more chance there is of it becoming one :)

If you want to confirm something.. ask it, but it might scare him off.

Id not say your in a relationship just yet, unless you both feel like you are, or want to be.
I think the best thing you can do is to have a chat with him about it.
