I know this sounds ridiculous, but try adjusting your computer clock. It's usually located on the right bottom corner of the screen. Right click it, select Adjust date/time, and then choose to synchronize the clock with the internet option. If it's already set, unset it and select it again.

A similar error likes this has happened to me before, and I think it occurs when your computer clock has the wrong date, which causes the browser to load old information that is no longer available to users, and consequently causing the error message.

Dude, my hate goes of to that. I'm very good with computers and that would never have even crossed my mind. BTW, why was the clock not set to update from the internet in the first place, I thought that would have been common place today.

It was probably set by default to update from the internet. The thing is, sometimes when we run certain programmes from our computer, they change some of the definitions, and that might have happened in this case. For instance, I have Windows 7, and whenever I run certain games on my PC (old ones), it automatically disables Aero Peek and Aero Shake, probably because they were not suited to run in Windows 7.

Ahh yes, I had W7 and just that happened to me as well, not old games though but some ancient material simulation software designed for W95. A bitch to get running but fun to mess around with once its on. Don't quite remember the name though, just Google it and youl likely find it
