Hey all! I have been away for a while due to a LOT of exams but now i am getting to the fun stuff, i have entered my final stretch of Drama where i must create my own piece. We have chosen to set the theme on the phrase ''The World is a Stage'' and i made this poem to recite at the start of the play to set the mood. What do you think or more importantly, how does it make you feel?
The world is a stage, yes, that's what they say
Our lives are just scenes in the great cosmic play
We all know our lines, we all play our part
We all prance along to the beat of our heart.
But like any good play, the fates plan your fall
But we dance along anyway, until certain call.
See, this is what makes us human, what brings us together
Makes the heaviest heart rise, light as a feather.
We know certain's calling, but still we dance ever more
Sooner or later, we all get our encore.
