I'm really keen for it, emerald was pretty much my favourite game and Y was really good, so hopefully they do a remake of emerald as well.
I was just a little disappointed with the amount of new pokemon in the recent gen, hopefully they'll add more with these games though.

Sapphire was my fist and favorite pokemon videogame. And it is returning.

I'd probably get it if I had a 3DS, mostly because my copy of Sapphire stopped working years ago. (Don't put candy canes in the same storage with your GBA games,kids. :P)

Anyways, I'll be curious to see what they've added.

Of course, as always I am worrying about it, but nothing I can do about that. Will just have to see what happens. I still want them to bring back having your first pokémon walking around behind you. That's my favourite feature they've ever introduced and it was gone immediately. I know it's a lot of sprites, but man was that cool. But otherwise, all I'd ask for them is to not mess it up with new gen stuff. I want berry blending, contests, etc. Isn't necessary, but I'd also squeal if they used a re-imagined original soundtrack. Pimp it out with awesome 3D graphics and what not of course, it's just a dangerous territory because Sapphire and Ruby are very precious to a large demographic including me.

I might have to get a GBA so I can play the original again lol. I always trade in my consoles to get credit toward the new ones and I probably wouldn't have done that with my DS lite if I remembered Nintendo only does single gen backwards compatibility. Same happened when I upgraded to SP with the GB games.

I have one game for my 3DS and thats animal crossing and I've not played it since last summer lmao so this'll give me a reason to use it. I might buy X/Y before then though idk.

Emerald was my first Pokemon game even though I had a hacked version that swore lmao.

The best part is that they're out on my bday so I could just ask them for my bday. As for the 3DS , I bought one this summer for Pokémon X and I don't regret it at all. :p
