I am 18 and still a virgin (I know its not a "bad" thing" but lets be honest no one wants to be that guy!) My question is, For those who lost their Virginity to someone you loved/liked was it more special or for those who had a one night stand, hooked up at a party etc: did you care afterwards? did you regret it?
just a little curious thats all:rolleyes:

I'm also a virgin. I know I'm young. But isn't this a hard question to answer because you only lose it once so the ones who did it with a love dont know how it was at a hook up or the other way around.

One night stand, worst decision ever. Easy.

it's hard to say...for me love and sex are two different things so I never grasped the whole waiting for a special one idea...but everyone is different, you will feel it when you are ready...

Oh I totally agree that sex and love are 2 COMPLETELY different things. but I am just wondering from people from both ends.

I was in the same boat as you until a couple weeks ago when I lost my virginity. It was just a one night stand sort of thing for me and yeah, I think it might have been better if I we're to have lost it to someone I had feelings for. I wouldn't say that I regret it because now my friends can't bug me about being the only virgin in our little group haha

I lost my virginity to a girl I was dating at the time. I have never regreted losing it to her, even after almost 6 years and since we have both moved on I still feel a sense of love when I think of her and that day.

i agree, i lost my virginity at a party with someone i didnt even know, i really do regret it, and you dont hear a lot of guys say that, but honestly, i do. Lose it to someone you love, or atleast really like, not someone you dont know. Dont do what i did, youll regret it.

Do not feel bad, you are only a very young boy and very smart for keeping your virginity, I know many guys of 19, 20, 21, 22 which retain their virginity and are very happy. I am very proud of you. I hope you still a virgin until get married

I lost my virginity. It was stupid, we were all in the moment, then boom. It felt good, and don't get me wrong, I'd do it again, but I'm waiting till I'm ready.

We're in the same boat friend. I have heard from what my friends have told me that they regret losing their virginity with someone they didn't care about.

I lost it to my current girlfriend, but I've done oral with girls before. and we have an open relationship (well I do and she's ok with that) so even though meaningless sex afterwards isn't losing my virginity to them I still sorta have both experiences and SEX NO MATTER WHAT IS GOOD, but sex with someone you love is better because of the intimacy and connection, but I don't think if I lost my virginity to a one night stand that I would really look back on it and regret it because it would've been something I wanted to do, so looking back on it I'll be happy for the experience in general.
I also think for most males that regret part isn't there for us! Like for the most part while having sex we aren't (well I'm not) thinking of who we are "inside of" but just the feeling and for girls they pretty much think of who "inside of them" and that of course is one of those gender different harsh truths, but I'm not saying it's impossible for a guy to have that connection, but most dudes just fuck for the feeling.
I think for the age of 18, you should loose your virginity kinda soon, because sex for a guy is ONE of the big crossings for manhood...so become a man

An example of the post I made most guys don't really get the regret bug! because they would do it again

I know someone who decided he needed to lose his virginity at 18. He got married a year or two later and said he really regretted not waiting.

I'm too confused about my sexuality still to even think about having sex no matter how much I want it to hopefully make some of these urges go away because some people say as you get older you start to masturbate less because of less hormones or something but it hasn't been like that in my case. I'm a lot hornier and especially since starting college and befriending 4 HOT guys in my group. I'm not the kind of person who would do it just to "experiment" with a girl because I know when the question appears as to if I'm gay or not all signs point to YES, I just don't know if I'm asexual or not and I know to some this may sound stupid. I'm glad I haven't lost my virginity but in a way I'm also upset, I just never let myself get too close to people because I know how easy it is to mess things up or for them to upset me like my best friend did 4 years ago...
Some friends in college talk about the amount of sex they've had. One of my good friends said that he has to fuck his girlfriend at least twice a week or she can get really annoying. This is why I don't want to be in a relationship, as I have problems satisfying my own needs too, it wouldn't be for "love" at all if it were me, or if it was I would only be able to think it and not tell them that, but I can honestly say after almost a year of knowing them I "love" this friend but also know I can't get that close to him :P I would have to know the person for a while but not be in a relationship with them. My best friend in college... Everyone says we should go out, but we technically are and just not saying or doing anything proper to show that. I've gone a bit off topic so I'll stop typing now
EDIT: This is post 1666 and for me that number is extremely awesome :)

yeah i pretty much agree, i mean maybe its a little different since i didnt lose it on a one night stand but even if i did i dont really think that it would change who i am now. i think that if i lost it casually it still would have been special the first time i did it with someone i cared about..

I am a virgin but I think you should have your first time mean something, not just be a one night stand.
