Hey guys,
I wanted to ask, have any of you guys seen The Amazing Spider-Man 2? Or do you have any desire to see it? I wanna see it. Is it any good? :)

I haven't seen any of the other Spiderman movies, so I think I'm behind on this one. I think they look too cartoon-like compared to Dark Knight or X-men movies so I don't have any real desire to see it.

Andrew Garfield seems to portay Spiderman quite well. He is likeable and british so win win

As cool as Andrew Garfield's portrayal of one my all time favorite superheroes is, this movie was bad because they OVERDID it. Two villains was stretching it a bit, and making a third (and that too, one of the best ever villains AND the most important villain in Spider-Man history imo) was a BAD MOVE AND THEY SHOULD HAVE SAVED IT FOR LATER. The design of the Goblin was terrible, and anyone who followed the Spidey comics knew that the Goblin's appearance in a movie with Stacy wasn't going to end well for her. All in all, shit villains, but good character development on Spider-Man's part. Honestly though, the villains. That's the best part, and it went wrong.

It was alright. I loved seeing Electro on the big screen though.

The movie dragged on at points, but it wasn't bad. Jamie Foxx was surprisingly good as the insecure Electro, and Andrew Garfield kept up the wise-cracking within Spiderman's character well. My only real complaint was the massive advertisement of two other villains, who barely got ANY screentime until the very end.

I thought it was a fun change of direction from the other superhero movies that take themselves too seriously but it has problems with it's pacing and focus (especially at the end). I liked it somewhat and I loved the new personality of spider-man, more comical than the previous ones. If you like superhero movies give it a watch.

Let's just say, less "Amazing", more " crap".
The Crap Spiderman 2, don't think that would sell very well. They have killed it now, this latest film was not more than a cash grab with a poor story and bad acting with people I don't know or care about. Shame, I liked the old spider man films, well, most of them :/

It was awesome, I loved it. It was a bit long though. The action scenes were epic. The acting was great. I would go see it again.

I liked it a lot. Good casting and a good plot. The ending was sad but good, I'm glad they did what they did.

It was okay...
Sometimes I felt many...after all those lightning zaps and bolts, etc..how is spider man not dead?
Sure...he can "regenerate" but he's covered in a suit..which masks all his injuries..idk..
Some parts I felt were a bit rushed and too cliche, but meh

I went to see this earlier tonight, and I enjoyed it. :) I'm not a huge comic book fan, so I'm not going to nitpick a movie like this as I have seen others do.

I've never read any of the comics, or seen any other versions of movies/t.v. shows about Spiderman, so going into it with no expectations besides the first one, I thought it was amazing. Emma Stone is my favorite actress, so yay, plus Andrew Garfield was great. Even my fiance lol'd a few times and cried at the end, and he's a huge comic book nerd, so I think it must be pretty good.

I hadn't seen the first Amazing Spider-man movie because I'm not that big of a fan of these superhero movies. But I really enjoyed it!
