For me there is no magic number, now there may be a number or a certain period of time in which; I bring up my feelings of the relationship and that I would like to show my love in that physical man. Now if the love connection is there for me, I may think " yea it's time to have oral or sexual intercourse, but I never automatically think " Alright it's our 6th date tonight, I'm getting lucky."

I know that if she is ready then she'll let me know, or I may bring it up in a kind way....

I think you have to be dating at least a month or 8 -10 dates before oral sex, kissing and handjobs/ fingering can be after 1 or 2 dates. Intercourse should probably be only when you're truly committed to each other and planning on getting married.
