Being naked with friends

Are you guys comfortable being naked with your friends? When and where? Do your and their parents know about this?

For me, everyone know I prefer to be naked at home. When my friends come over, they already know I am naked anyway. Their parents know about me too. Last weekend, my best friend had a sleep over, I didn't wear anything. By the end of the night the other girls didn't wear anything too.

do you go around naked in front of your parents and siblings too?

When im with my friends alone at my house or theirs we usually go braless and we go topless if its hot in the house. I dont think any of our parents know about this. Only sometimes we are all naked but its mostly when we are changing.

That could get horribly complicated horribly quickly... Particularly with other parents finding out and subsequent assumptions

Unless anyone gets raped or sexually abused or anything overtly sexual occurs between the adults and the girls in question, there is no crime. For you, its just a modesty thing. You can't help but view casual nudity as something much more and that's okay, just don't start giving people the wrong idea when you've barely gathered your own thoughts.

I walked in to my parents bedroom and my dad had just come out of the shower with no clothes on obviously!!

And after what pensive said I wondered if that was illegal but I know now.

Secondly - I NEVER SAID ANY OF IT WAS ILLEGAL. Try reading my actual comment.

My point still stands that another parent finding out that your dad (everyone asumes pedos are only male - wrongly), has been allowing their underage daughter to get naked at your house, may lead to massive problems with the police.

Sure he would end up being proved INNOCENT, but that's a horrible process to go through, and once you get called a pedo it tends to stick.

My point is it's best to let all responsible adults know if appropriate, so nobody gets the wrong idea or thinks it's twisted. I know some parents who would never understand (or allow) the desire to be naked as anything other than sexual. Also flase accusations from teenage girls against older men to manipulate them are common.

An example of a similiar situation is a dad sleeping in the same bed as his teenage daughter. If nothing sexual happens - Completely innocent and legal. BUT start telling others you sleep together and someone (hopefully - as they are acting in a childs best interests) will contact the police/child protective services.

To answer your question, yes I am naked in front of my family and friends. I grew up in a household where no one wheres clothes at home. When I look at my family, the last thing on my mind is sexual. And when I walk around I am not try to get attention on myself. I did my own research about families that are clothing optional. They said about 32% American families walk around nude in front of each other and other major countries, it is more. In one country, it has a 78% have families being nude around each other. And most people in some countries, have the norm of being in the sauna, gym, pool, parks and their yard nude. To me, if you can be naked in front of friends, strangers, and in the locker room, why not your family? That way is backwards. One would hide yourself from people that you live with and that one has to hide. But it is easier to hide from a stranger or a friend but that one would allow him or herself to be seen. I don't get that! Just like if you are married, you won't allow your spouse to see you but when you go to the locker room, you allow everyone to see you? Well in my house, we are free from all that social hatred and bias about this. While you guys are hiding and lying to yourself, I am not. You like to be nude but is scared to be seen from your family, hide in your room and sneak around to allow your friends see you nude. That is too much work. Then you want to wait until you get your own place to walk around naked. For me, this is my home and I believe I need to be comfortable and not be a prisoner in my own home. I am very thankful, my parents allow us to walk around. While you guys wait until your parents leave the house and they think you are doing something else wrong or wishing you could leave your room naked, I am walking around naked in front of everyone. I have no chains hold my freedom and ambitions. I don't need what the social ideal life telling me what to do. It is not illegal. If you was in another country saying this, they might laugh at you and say that you are the minority of wearing clothes in the home. I have a lot of friends and family admitted that they walk around the house nude. One of my friends said that she is the only one nude in her house. Her mom and sister lives there. Her sister say something but the mother said it was ok for her to be nude all the time at home. Most people won't admit that they walk around their house nude. But I am very comfortable with no clothes on. Last Summer, the longest time I didn't have clothes on was for 2 months. We had our family and friends over for pool and bbq parties too. My family is normal like any other family, but without clothes:-)

Yea i'm pretty comfortable with it. Depends on who it is but i'm usually naked or in underwear during sleepovers and my parents let me skinny dip in the round pool we have in the backyard. My parents know but not sure if theirs do.

I don't think I could better this. I'm an only child and walking around with little or nothing on in my house, with just my parents around, is quite normal. I would find it very odd if I had a friend around to undertake such activity though.

I'm not sure who would be the most embarrassed to be honest, and I could not possibly conceive of any of my friends being naked if there were a 1% chance of my parents seeing her.

That would just be weird and it would also put parents in a very awkward position.
