There's this girl that started going to the same school as me at the start of march. But it's independant study, so I only see her once a week for a few hours. She was talking about how she was planning on going to a different school next year. The school year ends in about a month. Which means I wouldn't be able to see her at school. She's really nice and talks to me everytime I see her. She even walked with me. :lol3: Anyway, I would like to be able to keep in touch with her. Should I ask for those digits? Or is that too far too fast? I would hate to see her slip away.

Ask her. You got nothing to lose really. Afer a month of going to school, I got the numbers of my female friends. Nothing wrong in that.

Yeah, as said above ask her, and whatever happens make sure she has the best month or so before departure.

i'd say to her, "can we keep in touch", that way she can suggest how... it's less direct than "can i get your number". i think anyway :)

even just ask if she has fb, you can suggest 'call for a wee chat' once you've messaged a few times

You can maybe try talking to her. If you see her once for a few hours then you should ask her some questions about herself. I think you should get to know her more.

Still haven't gotten any contact info. But the other day, we were walking together, and a girl came out of a classroom and said we should date. lol We both kinda smirked but continued our conversation. I really think she likes me. :)

Just say "hey, I don't have your number. Wanna put it in there?" And hand her your phone with the place to type her number already there.

I would ask her. If she talks to you, and walks to you, why not? Maybe she likes you! ;)

Sure. lol
All I said was it will be sad when you leave for summer break. She told me to give her my phone so she could put her number in it. :P
Worked out better than I could've hoped. :D

Easy...DUH! Of course you ask her- yes, you have nothing to lose AND I'm sure she's trying to hint at something herself. Even if she isn't, take her out to coffee or something- you can still go as friends [right? well even if she says no!]
This is a seriously golden opportunity. Go for it. Mark my words.

Now that I have her number, I text her every other day or so, but she isn't very talkative and usually only has short responses, and I usually have to start the conversation. It makes me feel kinda bad, but I give her the benefit of the doubt, I mean, who knows what she's doing.
I have a summer school class with her that starts on Wednesday and last about 6 weeks and we go once a week. But after that, she is going to a different school.
Plus, my parents aren't so into the whole idea of me going on a date with a girl, so I can't really ask her out.
I'm just a bit confused on what to do.
When we are in person she is usually pretty talkative and seems into me.

WOOOO! Hey! You're on her way- if you want to be more than friends that is ;) Take her out over the summer- you got nothing to lose :D You can still go as friends- but if it becomes more, you never know it might be FWBs or even "friends"
