Hi,
I am going to tell you my story.
Ever since my I was little I always remember my dad yelling and screaming at my mom for stupid stuff! It would sometimes get to the point were my neighbors woulf call the police! Eventually they got divorced which was the happiest day of my life! This ment no more yelling and screamig right? Well, that wasent the case. My dad yells and screams at me insted of my mom. My mom met another man. He was like a father to me. He was thw father that I wanted and needed. Well in March,2013 my stepdad (who I called my dad) was diagnosed with Ewings Sarcoma which is a type of bone cancer that is usually foind in children. He battled the cancer for 9 months until on December 16th, 2013 11 days after my birthday he passed away. It is so hard for me now! I feel like I have to look out for my mom and myself. And it absolutely kills me when I see my mom cry because I know that she loved him so much!

Evening there Avery!

I can relate to this story more than any other, and I'd be honored to give you my 2 cents on the situation, but first,
allow me to explain why I can relate to this story.

On August of 2012, my granddad passed away, also of cancer, he was absolutely my role model and I could honestly say he was my best friend as well.
We played chess, painted together - everything.

I'm extremely sorry to hear what happened to your stepdad, but you have to remember that nobody on this planet who we truly adore and care for is gone. They are never gone if you don't want them to be.
You have the memories, you have the good times, the spirit of your stepdad can live in your forever and you have the choice to never let those memories go - I'm sure he's proud of you at this point, Avery, for sure.

Good luck to you sir, and keep your head held high - nobody is ever gone truly in this world, they will always remain if we wish for that to be so. Keep the memories, Avery! :)

---

P.S.

Good for you for looking after your mother as well, Avery. Your stepdad would definitely be proud of you and appreciate that,
being a good son is one of the best things you can accomplish in this world, good on you for living up to that!
