Hello! :metal:
Do you believe you should have a plastic surgery only after a car accident (or related) or after you get injured? Or do you believe plastic surgeries are for "looking better" - like society wants us?
And, why so many celebrities get plastic surgeries nowadays? (most of them deny them). Here are a couple of celebrities that got plastic surgeries, but deny them: Howard Stern (http://www.plasticsurgeryneed.com/did-howard-stern-have-plastic-surgery/), Cat Lady (Jocelyn Wildenstein - if you look at this picture of hers (https://i.chzbgr.com/maxW500/2951100160/h764895E9/), you'll understand why it's bad to get plastic surgeries), etc.
So, for beauty purpose? For more? Why so many celebrities get it? Anyone wants to debate? :yeah:

If people want to get plastic surgery then they should be allowed to go ahead against plastic surgery.
Unless it's for correcting some sort of disfiguring injury however I don't believe it should be covered under public health schemes.

If you wish to get plastic surgery,go ahead. If it's a way one could feel better about themselves, why not? It isn't hurting anyone.
For celebrities,it's probably for the same reasons, just that how they look could also possibly affect their careers. Celebrities get old, skin gets wrinkly, sagging, etc. And since they're in the spotlight often,it's pretty common for them to get plastic surgery to fix those "flaws". Sounds shallow, but it is what it is.
All in all, plastic surgery is fine. It's only unhealthy when it's going over the top and the need for plastic surgery is being fueled by BDD(body dysmorphic disorder),and not necessarily that the person is lacking in whatever he or she wants to fix by having plastic surgery.

Plastic surgery is fine. If you want it done and its your own choice I don`t see the problem. Unfortunately some people don`t know when to stop.

Public healthcare should cover recunstruction, surgery for the looks should be paid for, outside the healthcare tax.

Agreed.
I probably won't ever get plastic surgery, at least not until it's greatly improved.

I guess its just a tool in the box of look good. Has its good points if someone feels so bad about thier looks.

I'm neutral on it. I think they should be able to do, it's a fair thing, the surgeon makes a living of it, they look better, everybody happy right?

I think you should get it whenever you want however my advice would be only take it when you need it, for example if you had wrinkles, you don't like your breasts or a bad nose get surgery however don't be puffing up your lips and sticking botox in you before you need to.

i think there's a difference between corrective surgery and cosmetic surgery. like correcting a disfigurement. then there's cosmetic surgery to make an older person look younger. then there's cosmetic surgery to change face parts that don't have anything wrong with them.

I don't care as long as they can pay for it. it's not my body, so it's not my business. as long as what people do doesn't hurt anyone else, people have no reason to object.

I think it's great, for a little money it can give you want nature shouldn't.

I believe that people should do whatever they want to. I don't like the idea of plastic surgery, and I certainly wouldn't get any myself, but who am I to judge others that want it or feel that they need it?
