Hey guys, I'm kind of overweight, but it doesn't show much in my upper body because in the lower part of my body, my thighs are so big. The problem is that when I wear jeans, it looks awkward because I'm shaped like a pear. I prefer to wear trackpants because of this.
What do you guys think I should do? Should I keep wearing sweatpants or wear my jeans?:what:

If you feel uncomfortable wearing jeans, you shouldn't, BUT if the only reason you don't want to wear jeans is cause you think other people will make fun i think you're wrong, and many people probably think you look great in jeans. Plus, don't listen to anybody who doesnt like your fashion, what do they know, wear what you like. I wore a purple velvet cape for 2 weeks to school cause i wanted to, and i know i looked weird, and i got some snickers (laughs) but it was comfortable and i was happy to be wearing it.
While it may be tough to understand from that giant badly written paragraph, I'm trying to say that you should wear what you want, and what you think is comfortable. Go with the jeans.

What type of jeans are you wearing? Fat storage is different for everyone, you're probably storing it mostly on your thighs & glutes hence the "pear" shaped figure.
You could try on slim fit jeans, get a bigger waist size and keep the length the same. Or straight leg jeans, they might get rid of the "pear" shaped figure problem you're having. You should try them on and see what works for you :P
Or if you really do feel uncomfortable and can't buy any new jeans, then go with the sweatpants. Although I don't see why you would be,no one would really notice it other than yourself :P

I wear Calvin Klein jeans although I don't know what type they are. Sometimes i think that people make fun of me because of my big thighs so that's why I don't like to wear jeans. Also, on P.E days I don't like to wear them because they are hard to change into/out of in the change room.

You should wear what's comfortable to you, not what's comfortable to others. It's on your body, not theirs.

Wear what you feel comfortable in. My annoying mother keeps pointing out that I look fatter in these certain trousers, "fatter", and she really thinks calling me fat and "fatter" in my favourite trousers helps. Yeah, OK...

if losing weight will make you feel confident so that could help, however if you don't want to or don't think it's worth it then don't sweat it. that's just one possibility.
otherwise, I think accepting it and embracing it could help. you need to find the right pants. nothing's wrong with thick thighs in my personal humble opinion. black pants will slim you down. straight leg pants could help streamline your body. not necessarily skinny jeans but dark, straight leg pants will help.

You should wear what you want. I'm not going to tell you my opinion on what you should wear. It isn't my choice. You just shouldn't listen to what other people think about you. If you want to wear jeans, nobody is stopping you. If you want to wear sweatpants, nobody is stopping you. Wear whatever you're comfortable with!
