Hey,
So here's an interesting idea, how do you interpret the things that go on in your head? This is a very vague question, but it's a wide topic.
Here's my perception :
I prefer to think of myself as a modular machine. I have one or two main modules that control things like memory and other cognitive functions. Then personality modules, I'm not entirely sure how many 'controllers' I have. But basically, each kind of emotion is a separate module that gets combined into a personality controller (the personality controller is in charge of things like beliefs and attitudes).
My resulting mood depends on what emotions combine with what personality controller and what personality controller combines into my main module/driver.
I'm sure I've lost many readers by now, but it gets more confusing from here. The main module/driver ultimately controls who I am at that current moment, but, I can still interact with other personality controllers and talk to them internally, say, to get their advice (as they think differently).
It is hard to determine what makes me switch personality controllers as there is no set time or situation, though there are a few patterns. For example, waking up causes me to take on a new personally controller as does masterbating. I can rarely control these changes and sometimes they happen randomly (if someone says something or I have a particular thought).
I realize a chart of some kind would help illustrate this, but I'm on my phone at the moment. So what do you guys think?
