Background: 15, no GF ever, guy interested in girls

How do you tell if a girl is flirting with you? I realized the other day that I have absolutely no idea of how to tell if a girl is flirting with me. I was wondering because a keep catching a girl I have been friends with for quite along time now (but hadn't seen in months) sneaking glances from across the room. When I return the glances she looks away quickly or plays it off like nothing happened. Is that flirting? I have really no idea so your help will be GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks

I think a prerequisite of flirting is talking. If she seems to be constantly looking at you, I would go up to her and start a conversation with her.

I wouldn't call that flirting, but she probably thinks you're attractive. You should go talk to her and see where that goes.

Oh yeah, probably should have mentioned that. We have conversations allot in class. Usually about classwork, what's in the paper that day (the teacher makes us read the paper every day in class), or about whatever cheesey movie were watching for class that day. Things are a little more awkward out of class but conversations seem to roll along just fine.

Get her number and start talking to her then. Ask her to hangout sometime soon. Anything to get to know each other better.

OK, good too know. If that's not what flurting looks like then what does it look like?
