My current(7-8) music teacher, Mrs. Goodwin is by far my favorite She is kind, always up for a laugh, and is willing to help anyone. She was the one who started with bassoon and now chorus and without her, lord knows where I would be. She pulled me out of the hole I was going to and nothing I could ever do could repay for that and the opportunities she has given me.

Unfortunately, her position is being cut. It literally kills me to think that she isn't going to be here next year because even though she won't be my teacher, she will always be there for moral support, etc. She is an amazing person and the school will have a huge hole without her. She has set this school and the program on the best path it ever has been set on and it's all about to come to tumbling down because of the fucking school board that doesn't know shit and the principal that was fired due to covering up a sexual abuse case.

My favorite teacher is one I've had for almost eight years, my strings teacher. She is always just very calm and helpful. In my opinion she is probably the most respected person I know.

Who was/is your favorite teacher? Mr. Panici
What grade level did they teach? 8th Grade
What subject did they teach? Social Studies
Why was he/she your favorite teacher?
Because he always had fun and always tried to get to know his students. I think he was the only teacher who really knew everything about them. Me and him also picked on each other a lot too.

I've never had a favorite teacher. I seem to like my English teacher this year, though.

My 9-12 grade English/History Teacher (Current)

She doesn't give you BS and tells you what is required. She is also really nice and is very knowledgeable.

I have three teachers that I have set as my role model (I'm studying to be a teacher myself), but each one of them has their own flaws.

My English teacher is a very supportive, optimistic kind of person. He literally takes money out of his own pocket to give rewards for students who earn highest score raise (so if you earn 50 in your first test and then 75 in your next test, you win over your friend who earned 90 in first test and 100 in next test). He keeps learning fun and is very close to us students. But he still maintains the rules and will not hesitate to scold you if you break 'em, so the students don't run wild. It is unfortunate that he's bit pushy regarding his religion.

My Geography teacher is another case. He's better a comedian than a teacher really because he always has something to make us laugh. He is very concerned about his students and often offer advice to personal problems. He's a great teacher all around, but I lost all respect to him the day he showed blatant blasphemy, in front of class, to atheism. He's apparently one of those "believe in god or you're a terrible person" people.

My Special English teacher (listening and speaking opposed to grammar and writing) is a highly intelligent individual. He is always fun to talk to but at the same time teaches you something new within each conversation. He's been my advisor since the first day I got chosen to represent my school on various English competitions. He's a huge dog lover too which is why we get along real well. But at the same time deep in my heart I tell myself to never ever be like him. He's a bit childish... the fun kind not the clingy kind... but when you still live with your parents and have them drive you around at the age of 30+ I think that's a tad irresponsible.

I can't just choose one teacher, there's been so many that have had an influence on my life! But here's my top three:

1) Ms. Pomilia is a General English teacher for 9th and 10th graders, for the most part. I had her last year for English, and I had her this year for AVID/Focus On Success. She's young, hip, and very understanding! She's literally that one teacher that just clicks with all students, and will easily be there for help whenever she can. She's my go-to teacher whenever somethings bringing me down and I want an adult's perspective on it. From my parents divorce, to struggling with my sexuality, and even just about talking about my new english teacher, she's been there to listen. She might be a tough grader, but I'll just say it's because she cares a lot about her students.

2) Mrs. Hogan (who I sometimes call her by her first name, Jennifer) - the one and only photography teacher at my high school. Having a teacher-student relationship with her is a bit like being friends in high school. She knows how to use technology, connects with her students outside of class, and actively hates on administration :P and just like close friends, you have your ups and downs. She can go from being cheery to "tough teacher" quite easily, but I know she only has the best intentions. Like Ms. Pomilia, she's been there for me when I feel like crying my eyes out at school. It's truly a shame that she's leaving at the end of this year, the photo department won't be the same without her.

3 - Mr. Ledgerwood is my chemistry teacher. He's pretty much exactly like the Male version of Ms. Pomilia, and he's really understanding of circumstances. He's excempted me from many assignments before because he knows that sometimes, humans just fuck up and we can only move forward.

My 10th grade English teacher.
Every class, we would discuss life, and it was like a class discussion about life, and we'd use the books we read to support our life lessons. It was a great class, and it changed my outlook on life. He's also a great guy. Always supportive and caring for every one of his students. He was also able to work with you, if you had any trouble at all, he'd do anything in his power to help you.
Not only my favorite teacher, but also one of the most amazing people i've ever met.

My favourite teachers were of history, geography and performing arts and they taught all yeargroups :P school only had 2 history teachers, 1 R.E and 3 geography...

I found it easier to communicate with those 4 than any other because I guess they just understood me more :)

As for college I like both my tutors because they're both crazy and compliment me too much :P

Why was he/she your favorite teacher? Well, though he was our teacher, but first of all he was a really good friend to all of us.He never acted like he was the only one who should have spoken in the class;he always liked his students to be active in the class and comment on the things which were being taught about his subject. He was really great man,and of course he still is.Also he had really great sense of humors :) !

My teacher back in 10th and 11th grade, had her twice haha. She taught World Civ, and US History. She was my personal favorite because of the way she treated us. Like her own kids, she looked out for us in the hallways sometimes, she played relaxing music when we were working on something. When assignments was on a movie, she didn't have us take a quiz, just Notes. We could have drinks in there, she told us lots of stories which was just awesome after a hard day already. Really miss her

For me Mr. Abbott teaches science in grade 9 he is my favorite mostly because he just is an excellent teacher, unlike many teachers that I've had. He makes jokes that almost everyone actually finds funny but still focuses on teaching at the same time.
