I don't know if you should hide them, seeing as they are a part of you, but you probably also shouldn't broadcast it to the world. I'd say your best bet is to just move on and find the people who accept you along the way.

I agree that it does sort of affect me seeing it.

I couldn't show mine off like that but I have looked online at pics of peoples cuts because I want to compare it to mine and see if im worse etc, but when I see their cuts it makes me want to cut so bad, I shouldn't look but I cant help it.

I find them very triggering, but I can control myself. I only googled them 1 time, for some random reason, and never done it since. Cause, FUCK THAT! lol

Although I don't find the images triggering I think it's disgusting that people post it on their main facebook or whatever. I'm more understandable if it's from an anon account on tumblr etc. because people need their space to vent and express themselves. Personally I constantly hide mine, even from the people that know because it makes me feel uncomfortable with them looking.

A girl in my college posted a lot of cut marks on her stomach and I think the wrists actually bleeding but I'm not too sure on that. I really found it disgusting, it's vile. I think it gave me the itchy feeling but just that and even thinking about it is giving me that uncomfortable itchy feeling. There are some things I don't really want to see and this is one of them.

When a person harms themselves and makes it as public as possible, they're seeking attention. It is an insult to those who genuinely have problems and resort to cutting as a coping mechanism.
