I've been for a long time been getting pain in my stomach and chest randomly. I have no clue what is causing it but I do know it can get very painful at times and wont go away for a while. (Usually like 1-2 hours for the chest pain and 2-5 hours for the stomach pain) My boyfriend thinks it might be from my eating cause I don't usually eat a lot but I'm not sure. Can anyone help/relate?

I get that sometimes so I can empathise with you. As u usual, check with a medical professional and if its the eating say well done to your boyfriend. If not, rub it in his face:)

You should ask a doctor about it, even if it's nothing it's always better to be sure

Any additional details? What you've given us is very limited in information. What's the pain like? Is it a sharp, dull, crampy pain?
How severe is it?
How often do you get it?
What makes it better or worse?
Is it related to meals, menstrual cycles, physical activity?

My stomach pain is usually sharp and very painful when I move. I find medicine doesn't usually work so I usually lay down so I dont feel the pain. These are usualy random but I have noticed I usually get them around 3 or 4

My chest pain is usually like a pinging pain and its ony mildly painful when I either bend down, cough or breath heavily. Again mediine usually doesnt work for me so I just usually lay down . This pain is usually random and I have no clue what might be causing it.

Was going to say, that if it weren't for the fact that you said it was better while sitting up, instead of lying down? I'd have thought it sounded like reflux or heartburn. This is usually sharp in nature, over the abdomen and is worse with a lot of triggers like stress and if you take caffeine, fatty foods, spicy foods and chocolate. If it is gastric acid refluxing upwards from the stomach, it would explain the chest and tummy pains.

If the pain is worse with movement and while pressing on it, this sounds quite muscular, actually - and if this is the case, it does indeed improve if there is rest. Maybe consider avoiding these foods and start writing a diary of foods and activities as a journal for a while? If the problem persists, with no patterns found, it would be wise to see your doctor.

Keep us posted?

It's probably gas cramps. I get painful ones like that. But that doesn't mean it's not a symptom of something that needs to treated.

In what way, does this make it easier? What were you intending to diagnose from that, when the pain is in the chest? Sounds like an unnecessary question.

How is that remotely relevant?

To answer OP, this doesn't sound healthy. If it were purely abdominal pain, then my only guess would be that it had something to with your period, but since you added chest pains to that, I have no idea. The duration of it is concerning too, seeing how it can extend past an hour. I'd check with a doctor soon.

It's acid reflux.
Acid from the stomach can shoot up the oesophagus and can trickle down your wind pipe. This may happen after a meal or after lying down for long periods of time. Gaviscon tablets or liquid may make this better.
