Uh I know this is stupid, but is there any way of knowing why a certain person is banned? I know we can't PM you mods because if you allow one to do that you're gonna end up with the whole forum flooding you with similar PMs... but is there a way?

I'd say if someone has a valid reason for needing to know they should PM the administrators Mike and Val. But without a valid reason to know i wouldn't expect them to say and and ppl shouldn't ask without a valid reason. Just because someone got banned doesn't mean they don't have a right to privacy.

If a well known member is banned for wrongful reasons then sometimes the SS will notify the entire forum although this is very rare. Other times if a member is banned and the reason revolved around individuals then the individuals may be told the reason.

However generally bans are kept confidential.

Understandable. i just got a wtf shock too. but none of my biz. and if i was told I would probably be 'oh ok that makes sense'.
