Do you love your best friend?

This may be more for guys because most girls I know always say they love their friends, but most guys don't. So, do you think you love your best friend, in a friend kind of way at least, do you say it, do they say they love you? I think I've always loved my best friends, but I've never told them if they were a guy.

I only have 2 friends, they are both guys.

I have two best friends actually. My male best friend is also my boyfriend and I have told him, I love him.
As far as my best female friend is concerned I love her like a sister and I told her that.

I think I would not tell a male friend I love him, I just did it in my special situation as we became a couple. If it was a 'normal' male friendship it would be weird I guess...they would probably think I want more than friendship from them.

I've probably said it once or twice to guy friends and girl friends. Recently saw one in subway that I'd last seen in school a few months before, she said "I love you" and I said "I love you too". I feel it but that's probably the only time I ever properly said it. I have the attachment to my best friend and 2 guy friends, but no matter how much I would love to I'd never be able to ask them out. A lot of people say they love me, all I say is "I love myself", because I don't want to feel too attached to anyone... :)

i tell my best friends..which are more like a brother usually that i love them..but lately i've lost all..every single one of my friends over some bull crap! i finally got the chance to click with someone who is like a lil brother to me...and i dont tell them yet as ive only known them a short amount of time..but yes i love them and as others have said i would take a bullet for him...the kid is like my lil brother and is JUST like me in almost every way except for being cuban! :cool:

Yeah I have couple of friends that I'd call best friends that I'd say I love but I wouldn't tell them that because I'm pretty sure they don't like me as much as I like them. I dunno, I have a weird relationship with my friends.

I love all my friends. They're amazing people and they teach me so much in this journey of life. They are people that really suffice the quote in my signature: "make yourself necessary to somebody". I have a best friend that I have known for over 10 years. I do more with him than my brothers. We have been through alot together, played sports, families gone camping together, we both ride quads, we live 2 blocks from each other but with all that there isnt a reason to tell him anything more. We know it already and can always count on each other for support or just someone to talk to. If it comes down to a crisis or something, I would tell him out of compassion. We plan on going to the same college and naval academy eventually. Trust me if your real close with your friend, He/She already knows it.

I love my friend. I honestly can't see living my life without her at least somewhat involved with it. I mean we've kind of indirectly planned to stick together till throughout college- we're going to the same junior college after high school, then we're both moving down to SoCal for university. Yes I suppose I do'love' my best friends in the sense that I care about them and they care about me and within nearly limitless boundaries I would help them knowing they would hopefully do the same for me, but I have only just realised how lucky I am to have best friends( 3 others) since I found our that one of them (the one that I am closest to) was moving to Canada (I live in the UK) :(
