Anybody here that has moved out of state for college or any type of schooling.
Pros?
Cons?
Would you recommend it?
Do you live alone or have roommates?
And I want to know how you feel about it?

Pros?
A fresh start. Be whoever you want to be without your past tying you down.
All new friends
YOLO
Less parental influence
Don't have to visit your parents often
In my experience, better sibling and parent relationships
Cons?
Higher cost of tuition
No friends or family (depending) nearby in case of emergency
Unfamiliar city
Obviously the more difficult road to take
Can't visit your parents often. They can't do your laundry for you.
Would you recommend it?
Depends on who you are as a person, but generally yes.
Do you live alone or have roommates?
Just my gf, off-campus.
And I want to know how you feel about it? It's probably the best decision I have ever made, but that's because I'm personally a very safe person and it's the biggest risk I've taken my whole life. I hated my hometown and didn't fit in. The first time I moved, I made a mistake involving the reasons behind it, but last year I moved for myself, to the place that called to me the most and I think I've found a place I fit in that makes me feel thankful everyday that I am here. Not to mention I'm better suited for the climate.

Pros? Better education, more opportunities in the world job market
Cons? A completely new type of society with different norms and values, different education system than one is used to, hard to make friends
Would you recommend it? Yes and no. Yes because it's great for your personal development and education, no because it will cause u to have few friends
Do you live alone or have roommates? At home with mom.
And I want to know how you feel about it? I love it tbh. Thanks to being in Holland I'm able to study Greek and Latin, which I love

Pros? AWESOME
Cons? MAXIMUM AWESOME STARTING FROM THE SECOND YEAR
Would you recommend it? HELL YEAH
Do you live alone or have roommates? LIVE IN MY OWN ROOM IN A FRAT
And I want to know how you feel about it? HELL YEAH!
It has been a nice experience living in a frat. Hazing, parties, do what you want. And if I need anything home is only three hours away.
