I feel like i cant get A boyfriend because my family is super strict on this stuff, like here are some of our rules
-Have to be shaperowned
-Never alone together
-No kissing
-No cuddling
So on and so on
I feel like if i get a bf, my parents wont approve and they will make me dump him....

Am i alone or does anyone else feel this way??

Ok quick question, would it even be considered a relationship without occasional display of affection? Any way, my parents are laid back and wouldn't care if I was in a relationship (well, my mom doesnt know Im gay yet, but even if she did, she most likely wouldnt care when I get a bf)

That is very common here where I live. Usually what happens is the kid ignoring all those rules altogether and just introduce his/her partner to the parents. Those rules are only there because your parents love you. They're afraid somebody would hurt you or take advantage of you. Once they see your partner is a good-hearted person usually those rules just melt away and gone unspoken of.

I think you'll find the most common thing in these situations is to go behind parents backs... If they are stiffling any chance of dating then what else are you supposed to do?

In terms of getting a partner in the first place, just wait for the person you think is right.

My advice is always only date best friends - and you don't need or mind a chaperone with a best friend as much. This also allows them to get to know the individual and trust them more.
