Hey guys, so on Thursday something happened to me and all of a sudden I've been prone to panic attacks! This is how it went: I did about 10 minutes of exercising( nothing hard, just some jumping jacks, sit ups, etc) and after that I started having a hard time breathing. I don't have breathing problems and have been exercising about 20 minutes a day 4-5 days a week for months. I have had issues like this in the Spring before, I think, but it was more of an upset stomach issue. That night I constantly felt like throwing up( didn't though) had slight diarrhea, shivered and tried over and over to get my throat to loosen up.
Today, I'm feeling a lot better, but my throat always feels like it has a knot in it and when I went on a short trip to the dollar general, my stomach flipped when the car started and I felt dizzy looking out the window, as well as having slight trouble breathing when I was just walking in the store. Please give me some advice, I've told my family, but they think it's just me worrying. But that's the problem! I can't get my mind to stop spiraling into panic over everything since Thursday! I mean, I could just make it all go away by forgetting it, but the knot in my throat is still there.

There could be several parts to it but one part sounds like it's a fever (shivers and diarrhea) and the breathing problems and the fever itself could be caused by a sudden change in stress in your life and the exercise may have just put you over the edge. Don't quote me on that, obviously I'm not a doctor but I have had this happen to me at least twice. The panic attacks and dizziness and all the other non fever symptoms are caused by stress a lot. I would suggest finding the cause of your stress (if there is any) in your life and try to address that. Of course it wouldn't hurt to see a doctor and get professional advise.

Anxiety causes all kinds of symptoms like you are talking about. A lot of times an anxiety disorder isn't caused by anything. But sometimes certain things can aggravate it and trigger it. Also this time of year allergies can be a problem and those can cause the kinds of symptoms you are having, and they can also trigger anxiety. I always have problems in the spring, especially with breathing, which always triggers anxiety.

Sounds like me on Thursday.

3:23am mum tells me the cat is ill and can't leave the house
Friday home on my own having to take care of him
He keeps scratching to get out even though the catflap was locked
Mum comes home, sees he's better and just takes him for antiseptic thing again...

I thought he'd get put down so I worried and I worried so much I can't stop. I convinced myself he'd gone and now I just feel that way, can't even look at him. These are the kind of feelings you would get if a relative died. I think of him as a brother and I feel really close to him for some strange reasons so I have more extreme emotions now.

Random anxiety, maybe something just ...happened... you didn't think too much about but still experienced. I've had it a lot in Spring break when i don't leave the house for a while, or just in the Summer when it starts to get hotter. Heat can do a lot to my pretty little head. I don't know too much... I want to see if I have GAD and agoraphobia now after my panic attack yesterday and a lot of other strange feelings. It could be an anxiety disorder or just something random.
