I used them with minimal results when I used to be skinny in my early teens cos I used to look sissy in my early teens, with stick like limbs and a small girlish face. However by 16 years I suddenly started putting on a little..just a little .........Initially I was sad. I lost my washboard abs etc...But suddenly nobody was calling me girlish any more.....I got the cue and hit some high carb foo pretty hard........my waist went from a skinny 26 in to healthy 32 in....so pounds will come when they are due..

Side effects? Eh you'll probably feel bloated after drinking them, but if you want to gain weight they are a great asset because its easier to take in calories as a liquid rather than a solid.
I personally drink ~2 a day to supplement my diet and have gained ~24lbs in the last 6 months.

supplements rarely have side effects :L thats what they are 'supplements' to supplement your diet.
They're definitely not a necessity, but they can help when used in the right way.
Personally i don't touch any supplements as i believe they're a waste of money, but if you have the money to afford this expensive, branded crap that they sell then go ahead.
Yes, weight gaining shakes can help to put on muscle and weight… but do you know why?
Theres no special ingredient, it's to do with the calories. All they are, are protein shakes with added carbs and fats to boost the calorific content to give your body the energy required to grow.
Based on that fact, you can therefore determine that you can also boost your calorific intake with food alone. Yes. Food. Is it so hard to believe?
if you're struggling to eat enough, weight gainers are helpful to reaching a goal… but to be honest, around January i was 235lbs and about 10% body fat eating 10,000 kcal every single day just to maintain that. No supplements, no bullshit, just food.
To recap:
-no side effects
-waste of money
-food instead.

I used them with minimal results when I used to be skinny in my early teens cos I used to look sissy in my early teens, with stick like limbs and a small girlish face. Then I gave up and hit carbs and milk hard...I had whole cans of milk and tins of condensed milk...this had reuslts by 16 I had filled out, waist gone from 25 in to 36, my small, girlish face got filled and more boyish, my non existant butt grew to be a cute bubble butt looking gr8 in tight jeans (my GF loves it), all clothes from briefs to tee shirts hang on me better....my bony pelvis became a cute plumpy tummy with a hint of a tummy roll, stick like thighs grew chunky.....What I did not lyk was my small "mboobs" but they are better than the ribs I had there before.....
So just high cal food will worked for me...In just 1.5 yrs to go from 48kg wimp to a 65kg real boy...not supplements....so go ahead and put on some weight...you will lyk it.
