Why are some teenage guys such jerks?

I'm 14, btw. It was really hot today, so I decided to wear shorts. Not booty shorts, but I was definitely showing a little bit of skin. My feet were on the my car's dashboard, and I was putting lotion on my legs. I wasn't trying to be seductive or anything, just relaxing in the sun. These two admittedly cute teen boys walked past my car and looked at me for a couple of seconds. As they were walking away, one of them looked back at me and said, "Close your legs!" Seriously? First of all, my legs were barely even open. Like, why did he say that?

Some guys just find stuff like that funny. Not all do, and chances are he wouldn't have done it had his friend not been there. :rolleyes:

Yeah, I agree with the others. I bet he was just trying to be funny for/with his friend. Don't let that shape your image of guys as we aren't all like that. It comes with our hormones and developing brains that we see something and try to twist it into being sexual. We don't always think things through.

Being ridiculously horny creatures (for the most part lol), we tend to think in perverted ways and call out anything that could be taken as perverted, even if it isn't meant to be perverted.

They are just immature, which isn't out of the ordinary. Guys at that age are extremely immature and sadly it persists throughout high school and even into college. Having said that, though, there are TONS of guys who grow out of that and actually grow up. It's just the age. Not to mention, since he was with a friend, he was probably trying to "impress" his friend. It's stupid, but again, guys at that age are very immature.

you'll find a lot of immature ass holes around your age.
but if you look more, you'll also find sweet guys that are mature and nice. They're usually quieter, and stranger, and not as confident, but it's way worth it to go for them instead of the dumb sporty guys that have no respect for anyone but their "brahs".
