I've been growing my hair for a small while now and I want to get a haircut, I don't know what type of haircut should I get. Should I just do the standard 2mm buzz-cut again? I have small knowledge of how I should cut and style my hair.

Depends on whether you go to a barbers or just do it yourself. Barbers/hairdressers can try an style your hair like a picture you bring in and usually have a book or pictures on the wall of different hair styles you could go for.
If you are doing this yourself just stick with the buzz cut to avoid any travesties.
