My boyfriend and I are about to have our first time together and we are trying to decide if we are going to use protection or not. We are both virgins and have never done anything sexual with anyone else so there is no worries when it comes to STDs from other people or anything like that. Im just wondering about like things that could happen and the pros and cons of using protection or not using it

USE PROTECTION. Their are still infections that occur even if both of you are virgins. So Pro: Reduced chances of getting STD and STI's WHICH IS A GIGANTIC PRO
Con: Uses a bit a of cash depending how much you guys have sex,

Most everyone is going to say use a condom. And it's probably best if you are always used to having one one.

A condom may reduce pleasure but penetration will be easier (Lubricant). Anyways - There are many infections and stuff which develops even if both of you guys are virgins.

Use a condom until you trust each other enough to try without. You can contact local organizations to get free std testing if you want to be sure your partner is clean

Use a condom, like everyone else is suggesting. Better to be safe than sorry...

Get used to using a condom - always. If it's never in question, then it's nothing to do with trust and you won't be putting yourself at unnecessary risk of STIs. If you don't have a condom one time, well, there are other ways for you both to enjoy sex.

I'd say do not use a condom because you both are virgins so what would be the point! Then sex in itself for a guy is crossing into manhood, but you really become a man when you can nut into someone you love without a condom--rather you're gay or straight for a guy that's a big threshold of manhood to cross and I think you should do it

Usually made of latex rubber type material, it is put over the penis before a boy has sex. The idea is to catch all the boy's cum when having sex, so the girl doesn't get pregnant or STDs. Not 100% effective as they can burst

Ok thank you.
one more question, what are STDs?

Sexually Transmitted Diseases. Sometimes called STIs (I = Infections). There are quite a few out there. Doing a Google search may lead to a bit of "information overload" with the amount of info out there.

PROS OF using a condom:
Safe
Takes longer to cum
CONS:
Lack of some feeling
Not as intimate (in my mind)
Not as safe
Personally, I just really prefer without - but you certainly need to be careful and be sure they are clean!!!

If you trust each other, going bare feels a lot more intimate and fulfilling to me so id suggest that
Condoms are second only to circumcised dicks in lowering pleasure

Use protection! Even if your areas are clean there still can be many infections and you can get STD's.

Always use protection. Even if you two are virgins and remain exclusive to each other, there's still a chance of being infected with something or other.
