How do you define morality?

How and in what ways are you moral?

What is your perception of what morality should be?

How do you approach morality, and to what extent do you follow it?

In what ways do you think morality is necessary, or unnecessary?

What do you perceive to be the world view on morality, and does it go along or contrast with your own views?

How do you define morality? Benevolence, an inner desire to do what is 'right' towards others and oneself, whereas immorality would be malevolence.

How and in what ways are you moral? (I like how you didn't phrase this as "Are you a moral person?" or something. Important.)

-I try to be honest when dealing with others, especially if I have no reason to mistrust them
-I try to be fair, generous, and self-sacrificing for my boyfriend
-I try to help others if they are in need and I can offer assistance (if it is not detrimental to me- can't help someone if you can't help yourself/can't pull someone up off the edge if you're just going to tumble down yourself)
-I try to improve myself so that I can help others

What is your perception of what morality should be?

Ideally, a balance between fulfilling the needs of the community/society, and fulfilling the needs of the individual.

How do you approach morality, and to what extent do you follow it?

I approach it entirely differently than most, and considering this, I follow it to the best of my ability. If morals suddenly become immoral...You're not on the right track.

In what ways do you think morality is necessary, or unnecessary?

I think morality, in the general sense (as compared to the Christian sense) is necessary almost absolutely. However, as there are always bound to be 'immoral' people by choice, and likewise situations that are not always resolved the best- as we're human, it's not ABSOLUTE. Just as close as human imperfection will allow, I think.

What do you perceive to be the world view on morality, and does it go along or contrast with your own views?

Well, for one thing, they're very precise, and inconsistent. Generally it's just whatever the crowd finds 'acceptable'. It absolutely contrasts with my own views.

I'm not going to take time to answer each and every question in the op, but I will say this. I believe MOST human beings have a internal compass that tells them what's right and what's wrong. The name for that compass for most is called your moral values. Why do I say MOST human beings? Think Hitler, Bin Laden, etc. and you will see what I mean. Do we as a society need morals? ABSOLUTELY!!! If not what we're left with is utter chaos.

morality is a set of beliefs of whats good and whats bad defined by the person or the belief system he follow. i have only a few morals one do not harm an animal under any condition, two avoid all physical violence if possible, three always seek knowledge of all things . that pretty much sums it up but of corse i have the wiccan rede to follow as well as the few laws of theistic satanism. i think morals arent set in stone as a society but people create them for themselves. even though christianity has a whole other mind set example uganda

How do you define morality?

The differentation between good and bad.

How and in what ways are you moral?

That's what we define for ourselves. We all have different morals.

What is your perception of what morality should be?

I think that morality will form out of itself in social groups, but that everyone should be free to have their own morals as long as they are not discriminatory

How do you approach morality, and to what extent do you follow it?

I just try to keep by the general social morals. I don't mind doing something that's not completely morally correct once in a while though ;)

In what ways do you think morality is necessary, or unnecessary?

I think it's necessary in order for us to keep up a good system of right and wrong and what is acceptable and what not.

What do you perceive to be the world view on morality, and does it go along or contrast with your own views?

I don't think there is a single view on morality. Everyone has different morals, and though alot are basic human morals which we all posess in some amount, there is no one set of them.

How do you define morality? What one believes is correct.

How and in what ways are you moral? I'm moral because I still follow my own code, and seek to do it unconditionally.

What is your perception of what morality should be? It should be an approach to good.

How do you approach morality, and to what extent do you follow it? I have my honor code which I follow, but it most definitely doesn't cover many things, and despite my affection for honor I am able to go out of my way with little to no regret.

In what ways do you think morality is necessary, or unnecessary? It is necessary since humans have to fight for good, but it is unnecessary when it starts limiting a person.

What do you perceive to be the world view on morality, and does it go along or contrast with your own views? It's more conservative than mine, probably more humane.
