I am 16, almost 17 and have never shaven. I was wondering if I am ready to shave as I have many noticeable hairs on my chin as well as noticeable hair on my upper lip. If yes can you recommend any electric shavers for beginners?

I would recommend getting a manual razor to start with. I have just a basic three-blade manual razor and I have some shaving gel. I'm not sure if you're supposed to do it this way, but it's worked for me for the past couple months that I've been shaving and I haven't cut myself at all, but what I do is get men's shaving gel and put some in your hand and make it foamy and then put it where you need it, shave, and you're fine. Don't press too hard, too. You might want to put warm water on your face where you're going to shave it, Idk when I started to shave I looked it up and it said to so I went with it and still do it like that. It's really simple, it may take about 10-15 minutes your first time because you've never done it before, but that's okay.

To answer if you're ready to shave, then yes. I started when I had a few noticeable hairs on my chin and a bunch of hair on my upper lip. I needed to shave, badly... lol But seriously, if you live near/with your dad, he can help you. (Honestly, my mom helped me the first time, but I really didn't need much help, it's really simple...)

God, I just noticed this is a lot, but hopefully I helped...? If you need any more help, just ask. I'll answer anything.
