Hi everyone
So a few months a go I put a question forward regarding getting circumcised. The main point was I had a problem and with my frenulum which caused me to contemplate the procedure. However due to a rather strange series of events this problem sorted itself out. While this did make me a lot happier it didn't stop me considering the op. The main reason for me wanting it now is that I just much prefer the look of a circumcised penis along with elimination the fear of a certain part of the penis snapping.

I am aware of the problems that come with the procedure however this doesn't tend to worry me a great deal. At the moment I am in a state of flux on the matter and I wanted to get the opinions of some of you.

I would prefer the opinions of those who have undergone the procedure as to get a more realistic view of what it's like to be circumcised. For any of you that have had the procedure during their teenage years I would like to know if you prefer being cut or uncut.

Thank you

90%+ of them are happy, you can check different threads in this forum.

I'm cut when a baby and happy also.

Okay, lets sort some things out, circumcision has a high rate of getting botched, and around 200 babys or so die from it yearly, not to high but you could get a medical problem, and circumcision removes around 20000 nerve endings and no this is not a exageration.

If you want to take circumcision for a test drive, retract your foreskin for around 2 days, and see how less sensitive the head will become after a bit from rubbing againts your clothes

If the frenulum issue has sorted itself out, then it boils down to personal choice. I was in that situation and decided to get circumcised (main issue was my foreskin was fairly long, and this was a matter of inconvenience in a number if ways). Bear in mind I live in North America where circumcision is very common, unlike Britain. I am not one to make bold statements without facts, but my sex life was not ruined by deciding to have my foreskin removed. IMHO there are compensating enhancements to feeling that counteract the sensitivity of the glans by itself. If you have thought about it and really want it, then look into getting it done.

200 deaths annually is definitely an exaggeration. The source of that figure is an
article by an anti-circumcision zealot, in which he used some ridiculous statistical
manipulation to arrive at that figure. 20,000 nerve endings may or may not be
an exaggeration; I don't think anybody knows. But if you get pleasure from your
foreskin go ahead and enjoy it. I'm not sure what you consider a high rate of
getting botched. With millions of circumcisions being done every year no doubt
some are botched, I imagine most of them are more or less satisfactory or we
would be hearing about it.

Personally I'm cut and it feels good and work fine.

I was circumcised a couple of months ago due to a frenulum problem. Do I ENJOY it? No not really as I don't really notice a difference other than not having a foreskin. I slightly prefer being uncut as it had a little bit more pleasure but otherwise it's the same.

Usualy circumcisions are boched, the boched effects can be one of the following or multiable.

penis pointing one direction when erect.
tight erections
almost full sensitivity loss (happened to a few people but usualy does not happen)

and many other things (might want to research them up yourselfs)

Not all of them are botched, mine was perfectly fine. Also "penis pointing one direction when erect" has nothing to do with being cut. Many uncut guys experience this.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has estimated that globally 30% of males are circumcised, so if 200 die for complication yearly it's like 0.000001%. I think the flu is far more dangerous....

I chose to get cut when I was 13. Not because of any medical issues. I wanted very badly to be circumcised because I liked the way my cut friends looked and because there never is any bad smell with a cut penis. Needless to say, I am very pleased with my decision to get cut and I would never want my foreskin back.

Thank you to Luke91 and a couple others for giving me some actual useful information. The way things are going at the moment I'm more In favour of getting the op. Hopefully I will be fully circumcised before the end of the year.

Even though I have made my decision i would still like some more advice on what I can expect.

Thank you.

My personal rule of thumb is, no surgery of any kind unless it's absolutely necessary.

Personally I don't see the need to get circumcised. I know people who have and they don't like it. I am uncut and happy with it.

I got cut when I was 12, the first month is like hell lol
after that, you get used to it, and you find new techniques to masterbate lol
so overall, I was not really thrilled of having it done, but I dont regret ;)

So after talking to a friend of mine who who got cut two years ago I decided to get the cut. I'm booked in for the op in 4 weeks time (wish it was sooner but I've got exams). I can honestly say I am excited.

Thanks everyone

Congratulations in your decision. You won't regret it. I have been there, done that and would do it all again in a heartbeat. Good luck with your circumcision and your exams. Keep your upbeat attitude and let us know how things go.

I am one of those who was circumcised as an infant, and I personally HATE IT. My head is so insensitive and I don't always get the pleasure from intercourse that I believe I should. I only feel this way because of a friend that I have who underwent the procedure and now wishes he hadn't for that reason.. I am currently beginning the long process of naturally restoring my foreskin via stretching. Just google it if you don't know what that is. Lol

First of all my objective's not to brag, but to share my insight from what I've experienced so far. I've had a cut dick for as long as I can remember, yet have never had a problem outperforming my friends in terms of growth, cum, you name it. To say the least I'm a number of months away from turning 19, and things seem to be shifting drastically for the better each year from my starting point at puberty! Not that my sexual rigor is based on the fact that I'm cut, you'll possibly just have nothing to lose besides a piece of skin. Take care buddy
