I haven't gone to school for four days now because I have strap throat, just wondering how many days have you guys missed from school or work from being sick.

Four days is a lot IMO. Two days is the max for me.. but that's probably because I was never that ill to begin with. I don't like being home LOL that also adds to it

I've only missed one day for being sick. I missed two weeks because I had an infected cold sore on my lip and the doctor didn't want me to go to school.

I've taken pretty much half a year off school when I was at school, that is. I'm a medical disaster.

I had to stay at home for a whole week as I had a concussion, that was the longest I think.
Otherwise it's just one or two days per school year.

When I was last in school (lol early 2012), I missed more school than I attended.

In the work programme I am now, I have missed five days due to hospital (over the course of 4½ months).

During the last three years the longest I've stayed home at a time is a week, I believe. Might have been longer when I was younger though.

I missed about a month and a half in my junior year. I had pneumonia.

I missed 7 days (5 days + weekend + monday & tuesday) from nausea

I've gone a week once cuz of lung infection. Was forced into many a bath then too cuz I felt so sick :(

This semester, I've missed 25 days, I've pretty much been sick all year starting in December, I go as much as I can but someone I just cant. The most I've missed continue sly is 2 weeks.

In two years at school i have missed half a day. Im always at school. I dont ubderstand how people get ill so much. I get ill once every 2/3 months.

At school I never had more than 2 consecutive days off and I pretty much only took them off if I was being violently ill. I skived other days but really I quite liked school and my mum had to force me to stay off when I was ill.

At uni I had severe tonsillitis I couldn't talk because I couldn't even swallow my own saliva it was all pretty grim but even then I only missed 2 days and that was because I was so exhausted as I hadn't eaten or slept and couldn't even drag myself to the lectures.
I take off a lot of lectures when I'm hungover but for illness I just get on with it, people who moan about the slightest stomach bug or cold really piss me off.

ive been off for 3 weeks, that's the most cause I was getting treatment for something, and have been off for a few days this week
