I've been having periods for 5 years and since the beginning they have been regular with no problems. Last year I started taking the pill, as a course of acne treatment.

It was fine until recently when I now have a lot more cramps/pain and even though I am on the pill they are irregular and I can start before I have complete the three week set...

For example I finished one set and started my period two days after like normal, however there is always a 2 day gap after I have finished my period before I start taking the pill again (I was told by the doctor to do so) and I have started my period again but with more pain in the two days.

Is this a result of me being more stressed than usual (I am getting stress spots and my hair is becoming greasy easily, my stress signs) and do I need to do anything about it? Like should I go and see the doctor? Stop taking the pill?

Er, I'd suggest seeing the doctor. I'm not on the pill yet, so I can't relate, but that doesn't really seem normal. Sorry. Hope it's nothing too serious.

This is happening to me too, I have been on the pill since June and the only reason I am still on it is that aside from menstruation I use it to treat Polycystic Ovary Syndrome. If that is all you are using it for I advise you to go back to the doctor. One thing I find useful for regulating the cycle and stopping cramps is raspberry leaf tea. It's fantastic for all sorts of menstruation problems.
