I'm a little confused. When Val posted the announcement re. posts in diaries no longer count towards a members' postcount... it said just that. In the FAQ, however; it says that in certain diaries, posts do not count towards one's postcount.

Which of these are true?

The fact she says all diaries makes me think that it is all diaries.

Mind you, the FAQ was updated more recently than that announcement, but that section could have been written earlier

Post count has been turned off in all present and future diaries. The Diary Guidelines (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/showthread.php?t=135167) thread has been changed to reflect that.

Hello,

In an effort to keep post counts sane in deleting diaries and to keep them more or less spam free, all diaries, present and future ones will no longer have posts counting to their overall post count. Any posts that you have made in diaries before tonight will still be affected in your post count until the diaries deletion, but new posts will not. If you have any issues or concerns with this, please do not hesitate to contact myself or ImCoolBeans.

In the VT Arcade, certain Member Diaries, and the Introduction Section, your post count does not go up. This is to prevent a member from spamming to 100 posts, and abusing the PM system. It is once again done for the safety of everyone here.
