ok, so just to be clear, this is more of a rant than me asking for help or anything like that.
ok, in QLD australia we have a 47th battalion for Rugby league, it's where the best players from different places in QLD train in teams and then play against each other, and then on the anzac weekend there is a weekend long carnival. different players get selected out of all the teams to form two teams, a possibles and probables. then out of this the QLD teams is picked, this is done for ages from U/13's to U/20's.
anyway that was just a bit of back story to my rant.
im a referee for the local JRL and the local NRL competition, referees all over QLD get selected to referee the games and then get selected to ref at this carnival, if you are refereeing at this carnival you are basically refereeing at a state level and then the next level after that is the Q cup.
at the end of last year and again at the start of this year i had gone to several ref camps to get me ready to ref at this carnival, a lot of time and money went into making me the ref i am today, i was basically promised a refereeing spot at this carnival. the list of referees that were selected came out this morning, i was not on this list, this made me very angry and frustrated with my referee coordinator, but what can i do? nothing really.
thanks for reading this, if you did. for now all i can do is just improve as much as possible and hope to be selected for the U/12 state carnival in the winter holidays...
