Transparent Text For Sig Pic

I've been playing around with transparent text for signatures.
It will come out transparent if I post it in a thread like this:

But when I try to upload it as a signature picture it has a white background:

It's too big is my guess. The requirements are 450 by 175; your image is 326 x 216.

Ah so. It would help if it said the dimensions had to be 450 by 175... oh wait, it does say that. Why do some guys never bother to read instructions? :P Thanks :)

There's also a 75kb limit too.
