Guys compression shorts?

Guys,

Are you embarrassed to be seen in just your compression shorts? For some reason I don't consider them underwear, even though I wear them as underwear sometimes. At home I occasionally wear my UA or Nike compression shorts (black or dark ones, not white) and a t-shirt. But I won't wear my Hanes or FTL boxerbriefs or even boxers the same way. Boxerbriefs and boxers are underwear and I don't like being around others, even my family, in just underwear.

Does anyone else think compression shorts are not underwear like boxerbriefs or boxers?

You're not alone. I agree with you as well. I prefer compression shorts over the boxers/underwears. Even though compression shorts are more expensive, they abide by their title: "Compression shorts."

I agree with the previous two. I don't have one but my friends wear it-even without underwear. Nothing embarassing in it :D

I wear compression shorts rarely...and not in public..and always with my briefs underneath.

My friends always where their compression shorts so I don't think they would count it as actual underwear. I don't think their underwear.

I wear mine around the house when ever I want and not a big deal. Many of my friends have seen me i them and it doesnt bother me at all.

I wear them under athletic type shorts with the compression shorts showing a couple of inches underneath. I wear this combination wherever I go, all friends say it's cool. I have 5 pairs of them so that I can combine each with the shorts they look best with.

Really don't care for them. Only wore one pair -a friend's - once . Too uncomfortable. Guess I like to roam free down there. I wear speedos only for swim wear and they don't give me that compression feeling.

I like just wearing my Nike Pro Combats with a t-shirt around the house, the compression shorts fit like a second skin and are so comfortable. If I need to go out I just throw on a pair of khaki shorts or basketball shorts.
