Hey all!

I've been through a lot of downs now... A few stuff started to get better but I still can't handle myself.

My dad had his surgery on this Friday, which was my biggest worry. But I still can't calm down because I haven't seen him since of it, and he doesn't want visitors.

I have some problems at home, too, arguements etc.

I look very bad... I'm fat.. And not just saying, I'm really that. I want to change but I can't get myself on anything. I want to change. I want to learn some martial arts too, but I don't want to be picked on with this body.

I've lost a lot of friends, I'm almost alone... I'm crying a lot..

Help me.. Somebody..

Well, most martial arts places are very friendly about not being super buff or anything. I went for a while and I couldn't partake in any of the sparing and I was concerned I would look weak. They were great and nobody looked down on me for it. They were all very helpful in learning.

It was fun, I'd do it again if I had the time. Its great for weight loss too. Fat people did go just for the workout.

I think if you take up MA you might start feeling a little better. It will help take your mind off of things, and traditional also teaches many techniques for mental side of things which can help too!

Thanks for advice :) I'm planning to do, but I can't decide which style, etc.

Just pick any style that interests you most :) boys nowadays prefer either karate or judo but my cousins are wushu athletes and I think it's beautiful.

As for your father; it's normal to worry for people when they're sick and you can't see them, but this will be over soon. It's not like he's gonna stay at the hospital forever.

A lot of us are lacking confidence regarding physical appearance. You're not alone. Have you ever thought that everyone on Planet Earth, including those skinny sexy people you envy, has looked into the mirror and thought "I look ugly" at least once in their lifetime? If you want to lose weight, simply build up your will, control your food intake and start exercising in a way you like. You'll get there before you know it :) x

I want to go on some style that prefers self defense instead of moves. :)

I know, but I want to be with him all of my time.

I don't envy them, I know I did it myself, to myself. But I met a lot of better looking people with low self esteem, and I'm trying to help them :)

- well then I think karate/kung fu would be my choice.

- and you will. You just gotta wait until he comes back home :)

- glad to hear that you're on the right track then. Just stay positive x
