View Full Version : My Friend

Sorry if this is in the wrong thread, but I have a friend who I would like to be more than a friend with. He knows I like boys and he was fine with me liking him, and he also said he had thought about him being gay before, but decided he wasn't. I took this as him probably being bisexual since a lot of people I know experimented without actually taking the time to wonder about their sexuality. I really like him, and am getting stronger feelings for him each day. Also, he is depressed. I feel like he needs someone, but he has taken to calling himself a social recluse, and he gets into really bad moods. I sometimes like to think it would be beneficial to him to be in a relationship, to have someone right there supporting him and lifting him up. So how can I see if he likes me without asking him directly (he shuts down if I do), and how can I help him through his depression, relationship or no relationship?

There's your answer, he's not interested in that.
and how can I help him through his depression, relationship or no relationship?
Just be there for him as a true blue friend.

I would extend your friendship and just hang out mire often to be someone he can talk to. You both seem like good friends and maybe if your there for him more he can open up to starting a relationship. Once he sees you care for him in a way that's not just about boners and stuff then he might want to give it a try?

Unfortunately I have to disagree with post above ^^^^
Ezra said it all. You had your answer. If you want to help him, then just be there for him as a friend.

Just become his close friend. Hang out more, support him more, and always be around for him. That won't necessarily mean you are or want to be in a relationship, but just that you care.
