I think theistic satanism is as ridiculous as any other religion. I see no reason to believe in the supernatural.

Laveyan satanism is more interesting. Laveyan satanists are basically just provocative, theatrical atheists. I don't see any issue with their beliefs, since they don't believe in the supernatural, but is simply isn't for me.

Antinomianism in general is pathetic. Laveyan is just selfishness in disguise. I think they're both worthless excuses for a religion. I mean, I'm not saying I'm in favor of religion in general, but at least some of them advocate helping people!

ok many of you already know of laveyan satanism the self centered form of atheism

but theistic satanism is a religion based on the belief of satan as a deity . and its not the satan from the bible . its more of a pagan religion . it believes in kindness and the advancement of spirituality . and really isnt as evil as its cracked up to be , also most of its followers including myself are occultist or study demons

I think it's interesting as a hypothetical, if that counts for anything. Though I don't recognize theistic satanism, or any other practice that believes in a singular and omnipotent creator, as a practical philosophy for existence. The concepts behind theistic and laveyan satanism are cool to read into. I just don't see why someone who actively practice them.

well theistic satanism while having a singular creator ideology we also worship or respect the demons as well . and its not really worship centered its more like buddhism its about reaching nirvana or godhead as we call it. well with occultism tied in

as someone else mentioned, Satanism is just another religion that I have no personal interest in. haven't met any theistic satanists though.

the LaVeyan variety is the go-to ideology for childish edgy teens who want to give their Christian parents the metaphorical finger as well as having a dark and edgy label for what is basically "I do what I want and fuck everybody else" in ritualized form.

well most of the demons are pagan gods as well as from the goatia . and as for the occult. we have intrest in the paranormal or unusual.

theistic satanism isnt about actual base claims or the my god is real thing its about expanding your spirituality and seeking godhead or nirvana . and as for proof there isnt any proof just like every other faith out there. the only diffrence is we dont follow our faith blindly cause that leads to ignorence .

It's just like any other religion. there is tons of misinformation about it everywhere.
You have people who make it seem like you support evil, and dark crafts.
You have people who support it
You have people who believe in it
than you have the people who are assholes and try to make them prove the theories and beliefs centering their religion, instead of living and let live.
It's another religion for someone to be faithful in, and to help them live their life.

Huh, not quite, yes though when it comes to religiosity versus spirituality. To OP, Satanism is either a very religious based hedonistic belief system around the individual or literally a system of glorifying demons and Satan himself. I do not understand all of it, but I don't have to. I do however respect it and that some hold tightly to this religion.
