Today i posted a thing about a skin bridge that was between my penis and foreskin but i actually looked it up and the thing that i was talking about is named the frenulum and i was wondering if the frenulum can be removed by a doctor or by yourself and does it come naturally off?
PS. The post was removed for some reason and i didn't get a PM or nothing about it.

It can be removed in a procedure called a "frenulectomy" or reshaped/lengthened in a procedure called a "frenuloplasty" I would see a doctor if yours is painful/too tight

I don't think I've ever heard the frenulum be removed. I've heard sometimes confusion between a tight foreskin and a short frenulum, and I've heard of ops to help with that.

It can be removed by a doctor if you've got trouble with it

There seems to be some confusion because some circumcised guys appear to have no frenulum at all, while on others it is clearly still there even if the foreskin has been removed. I'm told that the absence of a frenulum is due to the fact that it did not develop, rather than being cut off (I am talking about infant circumcisions).

Taking a better look this might actually be why my foreskin sorta hurts being pulled back after a certain ways... Huh?

You can't remove it by yourself. Do not try to. A doctor can remove it for you. It will be like surgery. If you're not up to that then keep your frenulum. My frenulum was partially removed during my circumcision so it's just left with a thin slit there.

That makes sense... How would you bring up the convo with the doc? Would you have to show them? And sorry to the OP for hijacking his forum. Lol

umm idk for sure... I would just tell them that ur having a problem with ur frenulum for whatever reason. lol they're doctors so they deal with that kind of stuff a lot. they might ask u to show him, but if ur not comfortable im sure you could just say that ur not comfortable showing them and then just describe the problem to him. Never hurts to ask.
