How many of you read manga and/or Western graphic novels? What are some of your favorites? What are you reading right now?

I've been a fan of manga for a long time (often controversially preferring it to anime). I'm currently reading The Promised Neverland and Assassination Classroom.

I recently read ‘Saga’ which is a graphic novel. Whilst I’ve never been the biggest fan of the genre, only occasionally enjoying a Batman graphic novel or something of the like, I enjoyed it a lot and have recommended it to a couple of friends.

I agree with your controversial opinion as I prefer most things to anime!

I like some original anime, but when it comes to anime based on manga, I rarely prefer the anime. :D

Graphic novels are something I can unwind with, I've found, since they require less concentration.

I am a growing fan of graphic novels as a friend of mine got me into them. Haven't branched out to manga though.
I am currently reading Promethea which is a treat!

So do you read Japanese manga or American/European graphic novels more?

I have read several novels by Anne Rice. I don't know if you would consider her novel graphic?
