I love Ted Hughes, as well as the so called ‘Liverpool poets’ of Brian Patten, Roger Mcgough and Adrian Henri.

OMG! I've read Roger Mcgough's poetry too. I especially like his. "Trouble With Snowmen:, "You And I", and "Survivor".

I haven't read it but has anyone read William Blake's Songs of Innocence and Experience?

T. S. Eliot may be my personal favorite.
Also a fan of Walt Whitman and Percy Shelley. I'm afraid I mostly know poets from the Modernist period on back.

I also like the poems of T.S. Eliot. While I like "The Waste Land" and "The Love Song Of J. Alfred Prufrock", my 2 favorite poems are "Ash Wednesday" and "The Hollow Men".
