I'm not feeling overly happy these days, so decided to write up a poem like how I used to do.
One after another
One after the other
Trickling down like the teardrops of a certain girl
Pouring down like torrential rain
One more, two more
Falling down on me
Endlessly, eternally
On top of my head
Down to my heart
I'm breaking to pieces
Crackling open
My heart's torn into two
I'm all over the place
Here and there you find a piece of me
Rage, joy, guilt, gloom, lust, greed, fear
Shards of me laying dead down the cold floor
Pick me up like a trail of breadcrumbs
Pick me up piece by piece
One after another, one after the other
Put every piece of me in the warmth of your hands
Put me back together like a box of jigsaw
Put me back piece by piece
One after another, one after the other
Put me back together so I could fall apart once more

See the twilight?
See the end of day and start of night?
See how charmingly our luna shines bright?
See, now, my child?
See how our Earth revolves?
See how seasons pass
Days shift
Time drift
Lives come and gone?
See how there's an end to every start?
See how there's a lesson behind a broken heart?
See what you're fighting for?
See, now, my child?
Earth revolves
Seasons pass
Days shift, time drift
Lives come and gone
Yet there you are sobbing
Gripping so tight on one little piece of memory
In the midst of the vast sea of time
Let go, now, my child
Get up, now, walk on
See, now, my child?

Cut me open, I wouldn't bleed
Knock me down, I wouldn't flee
Tear me apart, I wouldn't fear
Get your sword and cut me in half
Get your spear and pierce my heart
Get me a piece of your hatred
Destroy me
Detach me my beating heart
Stop me my pulsing veins
Strip me my very skin
Kill me, end me, take me down
Do approach with your weapons drawn
Send me home to where my kind dwell on
Purify, cleanse, rejuvenate your world
Ending me now is one way how

This is the story of a little blue gem
Harvested from the heart of the mountains
Collected from the hands of the miners
Pale blue and the size of a penny
The little blue gem was bought by a traveler
Whom sold little blue gem to a jeweler
The jeweler then gave his gem a thorough scrub
Soon little blue gem is no longer pale
Though scarred here and there; it lived to tell the tale
The jeweler then cut his gem to a shape he has in mind
Though incomplete, it now shines under the spotlight
The little blue gem; now a sight to behold
The jeweler then made a ring of white gold
The little blue gem sits right on top
Now little blue gem sleeps in little velvet box
One day a young man caught sight of the little blue gem
His mind drifted to his woman right after
Whom he wanted to live with forever
With a stash of cash little blue gem was sold
Now off to the man's office it goes
Where it lies silent with a single red rose
That evening the man proposed with his little blue gem
His woman astounded; taken by surprise
Tears streaming down her face as she tries on the little blue ring
The woman then had a pretty little child
The man works more now responsible for souls
But by every nightfall, he comes home to the woman wearing the little blue gem
One day the woman attends an imperial ball
Draped in a satin blue gown she fits little blue gem on her finger
With a beautiful smile, she glances at her gem through the mirror
Once at the ballroom the woman meets dukes and duchesses
Their jewels shinier than the gems of a commoner
Looking disheveled; the woman was sent home by the door keeper
The woman cries in shame of the little blue gem
She tells her husband it's either a new ring or she'd be gone
Exhausted from work; the man replied with a simple yawn
The next morning the woman packs her clothes into a little bag
Her husband furious and upset not knowing what to say
He tried all he could and said all he should, but the woman walks on
In the middle of her journey the woman takes off her little blue gem
Walking past a gutter she threw it down the drain
The little blue gem, once a jewel so precious, laid still under a pile of mud and trash

I will continue to abuse this one thread though :P I like how everything is blue in this forum unlike MSWord which is boring black and white. It makes writing easier. Who knows might whip up a happy poem one day x

It is a smile you see blooming on her face
It is her beautiful red lips
Scarlet like roses grown in chilly mountains
It is her beautiful blue eyes
Captivating like a pair of ice
It is a smile you see blooming on her face
It is her flawless white skin
Smooth like a pasture on our winter days
It is her golden long hair
Shining like treasures kept by ancient kings
It is a smile you see blooming on her face
When the world falls down on her
Falling apart by gravity power
When the world locks her shut
Away from all resonating her charm
It is a smile you see blooming on her face
When the world she knows withers and dies
As joy and laughter shrivels and wilts
When the world she knows topples and collapses
As sunshine shifts into sheer nothingness
It is a smile you see blooming on her face
It may rain, it may turn dark
It may be storm and hail and sleet and snow
It is still a smile you see blooming on her face
It is now a smile she sees blooming on your face
