I'm not a true believer of either, but I do hope that something happens after death. Otherwise, what's the point of life if everything just turns into a black void when we're gone? Some might say it's to pass on the genes, blah blah, and that's cute, but what's in it for me?

Life is about living now and what is in it for you is the present and what you make of now. And not what you don't do, cause you are afraid of getting judged by later (when it's too late) :-D

i am not really sure to be honest. I would like to think there is something after death like heaven where you can live forever and look down on people. I dont realy like the idea of hell though.

If there was a heaven and hell who/what decides which you can go to. Is one sin enough to get you in hell, or if you do one amazingly good thing in your life could that outway everything bad you'd also done

I know what I want to believe... I was/am raised C of E Christian but we’ve always had a very relaxed attitude to the actual believing part so I’m not sure. Ultimately we’ll never know whilst we’re alive and the best we can do is guess and hope.

I also dont like that you could go to hell and be tormented for eternity because of what you did on earth for few dozen years

See I interpret Revelation very differently than most people and I think Earth already is kinda becoming hell the more humanity is wasteful and polluting with it, and a new earth is made later, and those who were flawed and unrepentant don’t get to take part in that new reborn world. And Revelation talks about Earth being adopted into the rest of advanced cosmic society “the Kingdom of Heaven”.

I think heaven (cosmos), and Kingdom of Heaven, are part of a larger reality that we can’t sense yet, and are already apart of but just not in sync or compatible with yet due to humanity mental and soulful immaturity and imperfection and willful stubbornness to not want to admit as a collective species that we’re flawed and unloving.

I do believe in spirits (humans and animal ghosts are a subcategory of spirits), angels, demons, God, and I believe UFO’s (ETs) are actually tied into many religious scriptures from various faiths, as well as science and various faiths being reframed in a way where previous “conflicts” between science and faith, make sense once humanity understands a bit more.

Like we already know that Alchemy from olden days, technically is possible with what we know from modern Chemistry, and half-life’s of atoms nuclei etc...elements change depending on their proton count.
