Piss on earth

After some thinking, I believe the old man in the sky misheard us. Many of us have prayed for peace on earth. But all we get is rain, and he'd be like: "Oh! Piss on earth? I can do that!" Hence rain. Lots of rain. So whenever it's raining, it's the good lord taking a piss on us.

What do you thing? I wanna know.

Yeah, we get a lot of rain :( to much at times

Living on VI, my GF says, is almost like living at home in Devon (UK), where apparently there is a lot of rain and flooding at the same time of year.

But a lot of rain means that the cisterns fill up. Full cisterns mean having a good reservoir of water for the rainless time of the year. That's a good thing, say local island dwellers claim.

Haha yeah. I can't speak for Devon exactly, but UK in general do end up with a lot of areas of flooding at this time of year :( unfortunately doesn't help with having a good reservoir of water for the dry times. I remember a few years ago we seemed to flip between floods and having to ration water. Complete disaster for farmers who's crops were rotting from over watering, then months later wilting from not enough water
