As long as you are both happy together, stuff what every one else thinks!

Without knowing both your ages it's hard to comment.

But 4 years when you're a teenager is a lot. Is it legal is my first question?
But it sounds like this would be a bad idea, sorry I'm not being judgey but 4 years can have a real impact when you're a teen, 13 & 17, 14 &18 are the only two ages I can think you two could be and either way it's a huge gap you're in very different places mentally and I doubt her parents or your own would approve. Personally while at school I tended to try and stick to 2 year rule. And even now i've left I wouldn't date anyone 4 years older than me I draw the line if they aren't in uni.

So yeah without knowing your ages it's hard to comment but I can't think of any ages you could be where I would agree a relationship would be appropriate. Sorry.

If both of you are happy with each other then just ignore the others talk.. and yeah if you truly love someone then Age is just a number so just forget about others and concentrate on your relationship..

I don't know your ages but I'm guessing she's under 16. I would keep the whole thing a secret until she's over the age of 16 as things could turn nasty otherwise. I have to say I see where you are coming from a bit. I am 14 and find myself more attracted to boys 17-18, they are simply more mature than boys my age. However when you are a girl 13-15 your feelings change a lot and you start to like different people. It's a time where things change a lot for us and in relationships & dating very few things are a constant. Be prepared for her to simply decide she's not into you any more as these things happen.

Well that age gap is kind of a bit much I think...

I doubt it'd be even legal if you were to date and have sex. In that case, you could go to jail for rape if you are over 18. Ain't nobody got time for that.

Give your head a shake and go for someone closer to your age.

I would say No just because you could be like 13 and shes 9. But... as long as its legal I don't see why not but people may not be socially accept it.
