Question about private Christian schools

Is the faculty homophobic? Like, would there be a prejudice against LGBT students?

I went to a Christian school for three years, and I can't say I remember any homophobia. Of course, back then I didn't really know what homophobia was. I think homosexuality was just sorta tip-toed around.

i went to a private christian school my entire life, and while I wouldn't say there was super explicit homophobia, gay people were never mentioned in anything other than a negative context.

My friend goes to a Christian School and he says they don't openly say "gays suck", they kinda hint that homosexuality is bad. Ironically enough, that Christian school has a really high drug abuse rate and kids are constantly getting caught having sex.

I go to a private Catholic school, but I assume they're very much alike? Unfortunately the answer you're gonna hear from me is "yes, they're very homophobic". You don't even need to be really gay. Just talk in a high-pitched voice and suddenly everybody's staying away from you.

But then again, I do live in Asia.

EDIT I've just remembered something. A friend of a friend is a real gay and proud. Weirdly enough since he's so open about it, people don't mind.

I've got friends who go to a catholic school, they never told me that people there where homophobic and one of this friends is gay himself. I guess this doesn't follow a general rule after all...guess it depends on the area and the people on in this school.
